This should be an interesting week.  You all have a video due.  It should be loaded to your Google Drive, then linked on your Portfolio.  If you need editing time in class, so be it.

Here's the rubric for your movie.

If you are not editing a movie, then we're doing more Scratch.  We will start our Monday discussion regarding games and techniques in Scratch.  For example, how does a maze game work?

There are many examples of game types, in the "All tips" section of the Scratch help menu (see the picture to the left, note the "How to" tab).

While you check out some of the game ideas, I will finish checking your "12 cards", which should also be on your portfolio!

I will also be checking Pong.

When I'm done with that, we will talk about the types of games that exist in the computer world, and how basic things are accomplished.  We will "reverse engineer" a game concept to understand how it works.

Wednesday we will review the core concepts again, in preparation for a "computational thinking" quiz NEXT Wednesday, we will review Friday.   In addition, on Friday we will have a class "movie festival" to see your work in that arena, including your grades in that area.
