Week of August 20

I hope you're enjoying the software (seems most are), and understanding the way class works:  you can watch the videos, or I can show you the "how to".  We learn a bunch of stuff, make some stuff.  You have all week to work, and I will grade when you are ready, or when the next week begins.

The "Modeling" tutorials from the Week of August 13 should be demonstrated in a personal sculpture (does NOT have to look like anything real).  Be ready to explain how each tutorial affected your sculpture: from Modifiers to Splines, etc.  There are 9 tutorials, including the Project Folder tutorial. (Make a new, unique project folder every time you make a new thing.)

This week I will be grading last week's stuff, but we are going to start with the Camera and Lighting tutorials, and maybe fit in Materials.  You will be creating a scene, of your choosing, but we are going to look for something closer to reality that uses light and different views with a camera.  If we do this right, this project can be used in a cool animation.
