Feb. 1-5

This week is busy, but if you plan and use your classtime wisely, you should be able to get a lot done.

Due Feb. 2 or 3 is your very detailed, written timeline of WHO on your team does WHAT by WHEN, as well as a Storyboard or equivalent plan.  Your grade for this will be based on the clarity and detail you provide. It will be checked at the beginning of class, Feb. 4/5:
  • A - covers just about everything, clear who is responsible for what, with deadlines.
  • B - a gap or two, some very bad estimates on time
  • C - major gaps in detail that would prevent clear communication, but a good overall attempt
  • D - not much, too many gaps to make a clear plan
  • F - nada

Here is a link for template that you can print and use to storyboard your project by hand

We recommend using Google Slides and maybe Google Drawings for your Storyboard, as that will allow you to work as a group, share it online, make edits, rearrange the slides, etc.   Make one slide per storyboard, with all information.



We are expecting a strong storyboard draft on Feb. 4/5.


By the end of next week, your project should be almost done.


We will also take a quiz on "Dragster Physics Terms" on Feb. 3/4 - you can practice it on eClass now.

Feb. 4 we have a visit from Google Expeditions, this will take about 30 minutes of your class, and then you have more project time.

Your goal is to have a strong draft of your product by Feb. 10/11, which is early next week, so work hard now!  This will be an influential grade!


For 2/5 - 2/8:  

We built bridges once earlier, with popsicle sticks.  This is nice review
