Week of April 17

Tomorrow most of you test for the GMetrix REAL thing, the MTA.  Today we need to make sure you've signed up on Certiport (see the link from last week).  If you have tested at all before on this, like the Microsoft Office from last year, you probably have an account, but need to Register for the MTA tests.

Thursday we will start your performance final.  Hmm....what could it be?

Okay, I decided.  You will make an augmented reality (AR) app.    To get you started, here's a tutorial I wrote for Georgia Virtual Schools:  https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7n_q2VL-OKiNmRRRXRock4wN1E
This assignments does NOT mean to download some AR app and use it.  If you do that, a "D".  It means use a tool like Unity and Vuforia (the example I gave) or you can use Android Studio and the ARToolkit, to make your own AR app.

I suggest using a "target image" type, and not geolocation.  I actually have a business that's looking for a demo of this, and this could be a small business for you immediately, so pick your team well!
