Election is now, all of the fuss is soon over, to be followed by years of complaining!

We will take Monday to finish Lesson 1 on Parsing a file and updating the app to look really good!  If you have downloaded the Lesson 1 finished file, then make sure you understand what EVERY LINE MEANS.

So, let's get on it.

Once you understand that, start to take a look at an API that YOU care to import into an app.  After all, the goal is to make an app with YOUR choice of data feed, not just earthquakes.   I am interested in making a scouting app that imports FIRST robotics data, so we could have an app for our teams that automatically rank potential teammates.  http://docs.frcevents2.apiary.io/#reference/alliance-selection/event-alliances/retrieve-event-alliance-selection

You do NOT have to understand how to use your API of choice, just find one.

After today, we will move on to Lesson 2.  We will have a quiz on the code of Lesson 1's Final Project on Thursday.

Quiz is attached to this page on the bottom of the page.  Print it out, then write on it.  Then, turn off your monitors.  I know there might be opportunity to share answers, but you have to live with yourselves on that.  No cheating, no notes!!

PS - I got a call from someone looking for interns to code browser plug-ins ASAP.  The demand for these skills has never been higher, so work hard and learn this stuff!  Ask for help!
